Gremlins have their self-titled EP up and “JonBenét” is another one of the tracks we’re digging from the release. The super group known as Gremlins is Katie Lee (Braids), Patrick Jeffords (Toro y Moi/Kid Trails), Sam Ray (Ricky Eat Acid), and Mat Cothran (Coma Cinema/Elvis Depressedly) who’ve teamed up to produce some oddball experimental pop deeply saturated in adequate noise, fuzz and angsty doldrums.
As with “JonBenét” there’s a sense of dichotomous action which places the playful music under a dark cloud of semi-morbid lyricism. Be sure to grab their EP over at Bandcamp and catch the new video for the track here.
